These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy govern your access to and use of the Book2Play platform (the "Service") for discovering, booking, and managing sports venue reservations. By accessing or using Book2Play you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Platform" / "Service": The Book2Play website, APIs, and related services.
- "User": Any person accessing the platform (players, visitors, vendors).
- "Player": A user searching for or booking venues.
- "Vendor" / "Provider": A venue owner or authorized manager listing facilities.
- "Booking": A confirmed reservation of a sports venue time slot.
- "Content": Text, images, data, listings, reviews, and any material provided to or displayed on the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. Vendors represent that they have authority to list and manage the venue(s) provided.
3. Account Registration & Security
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during signup.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
4. Bookings, Availability & Payments
- All bookings are subject to venue availability and vendor approval (where applicable).
- Pricing, taxes, and fees are displayed or communicated prior to confirmation.
- No-shows, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the Vendor's stated policy.
- We may introduce secure payment processing; until then, any offline settlements are solely between Player and Vendor.
5. Vendor Responsibilities
- Provide accurate venue descriptions, pricing, operating hours, and availability.
- Maintain safe and compliant facilities (health, safety, licensing, and local regulations).
- Honor confirmed bookings or provide timely communication if changes are necessary.
- Not engage in misleading, fraudulent, or abusive practices.
6. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated harvesting of data without written permission.
- No uploading malware, spam, or harmful code.
- No harassment, discrimination, or abuse of other users.
- No posting of unlawful, infringing, or offensive content.
- No impersonation or misrepresentation of identity.
7. Intellectual Property
All platform code, design elements, logos, trademarks, and compiled data are owned by or licensed to Book2Play. Users retain ownership of their own submitted content, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it solely for operating and promoting the Service.
8. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy. This section describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data. By using the Service, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
8.1 Data We Collect
- Account Data: name, email, phone, password (securely hashed).
- Venue & Listing Data (for Vendors): facility details, photos, pricing, policies.
- Usage Data: pages viewed, device/browser metadata, approximate location (via IP).
- Booking Data: selected venue, time slots, confirmations, cancellations.
- Support & Communication: messages, inquiries, feedback forms.
8.2 How We Use Data
- Provide, operate, and improve the platform.
- Facilitate bookings and vendor/player interactions.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
- Send transactional and security alerts (e.g., password resets).
- Analyze anonymized trends to enhance user experience.
8.3 Legal Bases (where applicable)
- Contract performance (providing the Service).
- Legitimate interests (platform security, improvement).
- Consent (where explicitly obtained).
- Compliance with legal obligations.
8.4 Data Sharing
- Vendors receive relevant booking details to fulfill reservations.
- Service providers assisting with infrastructure (hosting, analytics, email) under confidentiality agreements.

8.5 Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained longer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Book2Play and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Book2Play, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations, suspected fraud, or to protect platform integrity. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
13. Changes to These Terms / Policy
We may update Terms or Privacy provisions to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Revised versions will indicate an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Book2Play primarily operates (unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws).
